Jerabek FFO

What is the FFO?

The Family Faculty Organization of Jerabek Elementary School (FFO) is an organization similar to a PTA, made up of student guardians, community members, and staff who work together to provide students with enhanced enrichment to their existing curriculum.
The FFO consists of its Members, the FFO Board, the FFO Executive Board, and the FFO Programs/ Fundraisers. The enrichment can take the form of supplies, and programs and are chaired by our student’s loved ones and can represent enrichment or fundraising or both. Some examples include:

Art Corps
Diversity & Inclusivity
Kindness Week/No Place for Hate
Math and Science Nights
Movie Night
Ranch Round Up
Read Across America
Red Ribbon Week
Scholastic Book Fair
Spring Fling
Super Pledge Drive

The FFO Board meets monthly to discuss all matters of business related to these programs. Officers on this Board are the President, President-Elect, Past-President, Treasurers, Secretary, the Vice-Presidents, the Members-at-Large, Administration and Faculty Representatives.

All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend any Board meeting. FFO meetings which are held the first Friday of each month at 8am. The FFO is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible.

Why should I join the FFO?

As parents and guardians of Jerabek students, you are already a member of the FFO!

The contributions you make, whether it is financial or personal, will significantly improve the quality of education at Jerabek. Historically, the FFO has been highly visible at Jerabek and it shows. It shows in our enthusiastic student population, the quality of learning they experience, and the healthy and enriched environment we have helped create for them.

Although volunteer work is often thankless and demanding, it is also rewarding in ways that cannot be easily measured. Volunteer work comes from the heart, and that in itself is its own reward.
