General information
Jerabek has a new diversity and inclusion committee, which aims to help Jerabek in its ongoing efforts to be a truly inclusive environment where everyone feels safe, respected and supported. We believe that the diverse experiences and perspectives that families bring to our school should be viewed as a resource, a strength, and a benefit to all. There are a variety of projects in the planning stages ranging from a library modernization project to professional development workshops for all staff. Please stay tuned for updates!
If you have any questions/suggestions for the committee, please send them to [email protected].
"Monthly Read Alouds with Ms. Ruth"
The Diversity and Inclusion Committee is hosting read alouds for Jerabek students and their families. The books chosen are aligned with the D&I Committee's goals and are read aloud by our librarian, Ms. Ruth Burr. Enjoy hearing these rich stories that aim to reflect and honor our families' diverse backgrounds. We encourage you to engage in the discussion questions asked throughout the read alouds.
